Mail is Dirty

Is this satire? Maybe not…

satire

from The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition.

  • noun A literary work in which human foolishness or vice is attacked through irony, derision, or wit.

Do we know how many hands our mail passes through?

At the Post Office…

Do they sanitize the sorting machines?

Do they sanitize the floors?

Do they sanitize the walls?

Does everyone wash their hands after going to the bathroom?  Do they sing happy birthday to themselves twice while doing so?

Do they sanitize their hands between touching each piece of mail?

Do they sanitize the trucks?

Do they sanitize the mailboxes?

How many hands does our mail pass through?  Do they sanitize, sanitize, sanitize…?

Do they sanitize the sorting machines?

Does everyone wash their hands after going to the bathroom?  Do they sing happy birthday to themselves twice while doing so?

Do they sanitize their hands between touching each piece of mail? Do they sanitize, sanitize, sanitize?

What happens when the drop mail?

The USPS customer

Do they sanitize or wash their hands?

Do they wear a mask?

Do they wipe down the mail chute before putting their mail in a mailbox?

Does everyone wash their hands after going to the bathroom?  Do they sing happy birthday to themselves twice while doing so?

Do they sanitize the envelopes?

Do they spray that mail with sanitizer and put it in a sealed plastic baggie?

Etc., Etc,. Etc.,…

Mail is dirty. Mail is dirty. Mail is dirty. Mail is dirty.

We need to go digital and use only email.
