Covid-19: Do many people have pre-existing immunity?

Introductory discussion by Joyce Bowen:

The immune system is a very interesting creature.  I’ve been thinking about it in the past year or so.

‘How dare I,’ you say?  Where are the gazillion titles after my name?

I am of high intellect, have a nonlinear thought process, and am an abstract/visual thinker.  I don’t just think outside the box, I live there.  Now that we have my non-credential credentials out of the way, let’s talk about the immune system.

I studied the immune system hard as a child, but I kept away from viruses.  They were considered dead things, and I was into life.

But in these troubled times, I’ve gone back to what I remember and am reconsidering a few things.  What we dichotomously rule as viruses, perhaps, should not be.

I’m nearing my 70th year and have had all those childhood illnesses.  They were not scary, horrible things and were, for all intents and purposes, considered a rite of passage.  Parents knew to expose us as children because of the dangers adults faced.  I still remember being told to stay away from pregnant women when it came to Rubella [what we called German Measles].  We stayed home in quarentine because of the dangers to adults.

I now believe these childhood illnesses are nothing more than ‘training wheels’ for the immune system.  They are our true vaccines.  And they bestow benefits beyond the pale that manufactured shots cannot.  Just because someone with a big bank account tells you you must buy shots does not mean you should.

[Since I have had personal experience with the devastation the shots and pharmaceutical products can wreak, I decline to allow myself to be experimented on to death.]

Since there is no test for this mysterious virus, how can we determine which end is up?  It’s obvious efforts are being made by nefarious folks to scare us into more shots by exploding numbers with fairy-dust science.

My question is this:

.

“Are these particles just another set of ‘training wheels’ for our immune system?”

.

.

It is completely possible that these dastardly RNA particles they say are deadly are simply part of us—they are there—they always will be—and they will be used as a weapon against humanity.

Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen.

    1. My take is that there is no such thing as immunity to ourselves–unless you have alterations to your DNA as many of us do. I have antibodies to my DNA causing autoimmune disease.
